Jernemyr is used to playing at the highest level, plus he already has experience of the Asobal League having played for Torrevieja for two seasons. His size makes him into a major obstacle for opposing teams.
Magnus Jernemyr first played handball with Borlange HK before signing for top flight Swedish
side Redbergslids IK Goteborg in 1994, where he became an exceptional pivot. In the 2005-06 season
he joined Torrevieja in the Asobal League. He played for the Alicante outfit for two years and then
signed for his previous team, GOG Svendborg Gudme, before coming to FC Barcelona. He played in the
Champions League with the Danish side and was outstanding in defence.
He made his international debut for Sweden in June 2005.

kilos he has been a key figure in the sides he’s played for. Plus his great strength is
playing in central defence in a 6 – 0 system, which is crucial for his new coach Manolo
