Josep Maria "Mia" Ordeig came up through the youth ranks of Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà until aged 15 years (1996).
He then moved to Roncato Patí Vic, eventually being promoted to the first team aged 20 years,
and over four seasons (2001-2005) become a basic pillar of the side managed by Ferran Pujalte.
He now moves onto a new stage of his career with FC Barcelona Sorli Discau, where everything
he has learned over the years will now be put to the ultimate test. Mia Ordeig has signed a
contract until 2010 and will wear number 7 both in the OK Liga and in Europe.
CHARACTERISTICS
A left-footed player, he generally works around the central axis of defence, exerting a strong
presence. Although a natural defender, he also joins in with attacking moves, and can score with
ease.
He is an intelligent player, and his personality and positional sense led him to take a
leading role against Roncato Patí Vic in recent years.
