Barça L’Illa Run a success

The second Barça L’Illa Run has improved on its success last year, with 1,700 people registered. The atmosphere was boosted by the participation of various FC Barcelona sportsmen and women.

Fun was guaranteed as hundreds of people met at the Joan Gamper sports complex for the second edition of the Barça L’Illa Run. The first person past the finishing line was FC Barcelona athlete Rubén Palomeque.

Back on the podium

It was the second time Palomeque had won, as he came first in the male category last year. This time he came home with a time of 20 minutes 7 seconds.

The female category was won by Judit Plà, who passed the finishing line just a little after her fellow FC Barcelona athlete at 22 minutes 22 seconds.
