Pau Gasol joins the Lakers

Pau Gasol has been transferred from Memphis Grizzlies to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, Aaron McKie and two first round draft picks in 2008 and 2010.
The former FC Barcelona star was also pleased that the Grizzlies have signed up the rights of his brother Marc Gasol, who has spent this season on loan from Barça to Akasvayu Girona.
We’ll meet again
With Gasol departing for pastures new, Juan Carlos Navarro will be left as the lone Catalan in Memphis. The pair will meet up again on March 28 when the Grizzlies take on the Lakers in the league season.
