Marc Gasol at home with Barça

Memphis Grizzlies' Marc Gasol took advantage of the availaibility of FC Barcelona's facilities to maintain his form with some training while on holiday in the Ciutat Contal.
Despite having left the Blaugrana to go to the NBA, he still feels at home in the surroundings of the Blaugrana and spent time going through his paces at the Palau Blaurana 2.
Learning his trade
After coming through the ranks at FC Barcelona, Gasol has now follows his brother Pau
to the United States- But he has already played over there when learning his trade at high school
level with the Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis. He returned to Barça and broke into the first
team before opting to join Akasvayu Girona where he spent two seasons.
Preparing for the Euros
Gasol finished the season with the Grizzlies on April 15 and will play in the European Championships that are being played in Poland between September 7 and 27. He will join up with Sergio Scariolo's side on July 30 and will return to Memphis after the tournament.

Training facilities
Marc Gasol is not alone in making use of the facilities as Pau Gasol also used to train in the
Palau and so did Juan Carlos Navarro when he was playing in the NBA.
