Regal Barça guard Ricky Rubio doesn’t want to be distracted in the postseason, where he has the chance of winning his first ACB title.
Although there have been stories that Ricky Rubio could be heading for the NBA this summer, the
player is only focused on the task at hand, which is the play-off final of the Liga ACB.
Rubio has already set out his stall. “There is nothing to say. To speak of anything right now other than the final of the ACB would be a lack of respect for the club, my colleagues and myself. I only want to focus on the ACB. When the League is over I shall inform the Club of my decision, whether it is year or no.”
Team planning
On Friday at 12.30, the team will train again, this time knowing that they are safely through to the ACB Final. Regal Barça may well find out tomorrow who they are playing, if Bilbao Basket win this evening (20.30) against Real Madrid in their fourth game. In the all-whites win, that series will go down to a fifth and final game on Saturday.
