Old Trafford: tickets Manchester Utd v Barça
Fans who want to travel to Manchester to watch the second leg of the Champions League semi final will be able to purchase tickets from this Friday on the club website.
From April 11 at 10 am until Sunday April 13 at 19.00, sales will be open for buying tickets for
the Champions League semi final between Manchester United and FC Barcelona, on April 29 at 20.45 at
Old Trafford.
Members only
The sales process applies exclusively to club members, and applications must be made on a
special form available in the ticketing section of the club website at www.fcbarcelona.cat. Each
member may only apply for one ticket, although up to 4 members can apply on the same form should
they wish to travel together. Tickets cost 60 euros.
As usual, of the tickets that Manchester United have given to the club for the game at Old
Trafford, 80% will be given to supporters clubs and members, and 20% will cover sponsors and other
club commitments. Therefore, of the 3,686 tickets available, 2,359 will be for members, 590 for
supporters clubs, and the remainder (737) will go to sponsors and other club commitments.
Public draw if demand exceeds supply
All of the applications will be dealt with once the established period expires (April 13 at
19.00). Should there be more requests than tickets on offer, on April 14 a draw will be held before
a notary involving all of the applicants. On Monday, April 14, the club will tell the lucky winners
how to go about collecting their tickets, which must be done on April 16 or 17.
A major change in the inscription and purchase process for games with possible draw:
- We inform you that an application is considered a definite intention to purchase a ticket.
- When making your inscription, you will be asked to enter the details of your bank card. If
your application for a ticket is accepted, either through direct assignation or through being one
of the winners of a draw, the cost of the ticket will be automatically and immediately charged and
the purchase will be considered complete. In the cases of joint purchases, the details of just one
bank card are required, to which the cost of all of the tickets ordered will be charged. If the
payment is not made successfully, the right to purchase a ticket will be lost.
