Advance sales to members a success
www.fcbarcelona.cat
5,200 tickets have been sold in two days to FC Barcelona members since advance bookings were made available on Monday. All, 1,500 tickets for the Real Madrid match have been sold.
The period for advance
ticket sales for the Camp Nou
opened on September 3, by which non-season ticket holding members are allowed to purchase tickets
for the Liga and Champions League. 5,200 tickets have already been snapped up in just two days.
Block bookings
As well as tickets for individual matches, members can reserve seats for
the whole league season, just three or ten matches, or for the Champions League group stage. All of
these options are still open to members, although some sections of the stadium are already sold
out.
The greatest interest, as ever, is in tickets for the Barça v Madrid match. All 1,800 tickets
available to non-season ticket holding members were sold on the first day of sale. Expectation is
therefore as high as ever ahead of the clásico on December 23.
Shortly before the Real Madrid match, we will be revealing what kind of availability there is
via the new Seient Lliure, or ‘free seat’ system. All season ticket holders that
can’t go to the game can free up their seats for another person to buy.
Still plenty of space
Members can still get tickets for all the other league matches. Remember,
we never announce that all tickets have been definitively sold out because there is always the
chance that more places will become available by means of the
Seient Lliure
system, which guarantees that there is constant variation in the number of tickets available for
any given fixture. So, even if there are no tickets on sale for a given game at a given time, this
does not mean that seats won’t become available at a later date.
