Big party at the Camp Nou

Apart from the polling stations the pitch and esplanade of the stadium have been another focal point today. The activities, especially that of setting foot on the pitch and getting on the Barça coach, are proving to be popular among the members.

The tour of the players’ coach and the chance to set foot on the pitch at the Camp Nou are proving to be those which most attract the attention of those members who have come to the Camp Nou to vote this Sunday. These are only some of the activities planned at the Camp Nou in order to attract more people to the polling stations.

On the coach, a one off chance

One of the most popular activities is that of visiting the inside of the bus used by the Barça players in their travels. There were really long queues to get on the bus, as it is a one off chance.

Another of the possibilities for the members is the chance to score a goal in the Camp Nou. This is due to the fact that in a few weeks time the pitch will be re-laid after the Bruce Springsteen concert. There were many family scenes with parents taking photos of their children scoring a goal in the Camp Nou.

Exhibitions by ‘Urban Street’

The members were also entertained with an exhibition by skateboarders and BMX riders performed by various professionals. Despite the intense heat, this activity as well as the break dance and hip-hop exhibition was well attended.

Moreover, they could also see a mural depicting the different sports sections of FC Barcelona, created by six artists.

For the kiddies too

Throughout the morning there were numerous musical performances and entertainment in front of the main stand of the Camp Nou. The kiddies were those who danced most and took part in these concerts. A few metres away, the children could also help paint a 4m long mural with Barça’s insignia as the centre point.
