The FC Barcelona board of directors will hold a meeting in Camp Nou on Thursday to analyse the vote of no confidence and the outcome of the referendum that was held last weekend.
Talks will be held from 2pm as the club are keen to discuss what the vote meant and what can be
drawn from as a conclusion from the results as a whole.
President Joan Laporta has reiterated his intentions by announcing: "I do not have any
intention of resigning. I believe we have been legitimised to continue and that we have to be
coherent a responsible. Now we have to recover the feeling of calm within the club itself."
He continued: "I believe we have an important margin for manoeuvre because we have surpassed
the motion." The current board saw 60.60 per cent of voters supported the motion, but they were
unable to secure the 66.6 per cent required in the club statutes to force any change.
