FC Barcelona’s game against Valencia on Saturday saw the biggest crowd of the season in Camp Nou as 82,889 witnessed the impressive victory.
The Trofeo Joan Gamper game nor the visit of Atlético de Madrid attracted as many people as the
visit of Los Che and they will have gone home happy after seeing Thierry Henry inspire Barça to
victory.
25.605 tickets sold
Another impressive statistic is that nearly every available
ticket for sale was snapped up as 25,605 seats were bought ahead of the game, while the attendance
may actually have been more as children under the age of seven were not included in the count.
It was the best crowd of the campaign so far, while the second best was 75,232 for the visit
of Atlético de Madrid.
