On Saturday 16th January, at 1 pm, Joan Laporta will open the new multimedia exhibition at the FCB Museum.
Next Saturday at 1 pm Joan Laporta, together with the rest of the Board, will open the new
exhibition, which is located on the second floor of the Museum.
The first part of the exhibition, named ‘The Barça anthem’
features the lyrics of the famous Barça song translated into more than 30 different languages. The
exhibition continues with an audiovisual celebration of the Club including sections such as
‘No one can ever break us’, a series of highly charged emotional images of the players
and the Club’s triumphs.
‘We’ve achieved much over the years
This part of the exhibition features an eight-metre screen that displays
the most important moments of the history of the first team and enables visitors to replay videos
by use of a touch screen. There are more than 200 images that sum up the key sporting moments: the
big results, the great goals and the big finals.
‘We’re the blue and claret supporters
This section, which is dedicated to the members and players, is in the
form of a garden with 870 flowers, each of which is a small screen. They display photos of all the
players that have played a competitive game with the first team. The membership is also represented
on a giant wall screen, on which are displayed the names of more than 20,000 Club members.
‘The whole stadium loudly cheers
Here the visitors put on headphones to listen to a montage of sounds related to the
atmosphere inside the Camp Nou on a matchday: a goal celebrations, the announcement of the line-up,
the silence before a free kick and the chanting of the fans.
