A fantastic prize for a 17-year-old Barça fan

Club member Roland Gombau Rius, 17, is the lucky winner of a very special prize from FC Barcelona – free tickets for every Barça match, home and away, for the rest of the season.

Roland Gombau Rius, member number 86403 will be travelling with a friend or relative to all of Barça’s home and away matches – and all completely free of charge.

Roland won the prize – offered as part of the 2010 membership renewal campaign – out of 6,000 members. This year, renewing your membership card can win you some wonderful prizes. And registering for the draw is free!

Too good to be true?

“I got home and my mother was waiting for me. When she told me I couldn’t believe it but later they phoned me from the Club and explained it to me. I’m very, very happy”. He’s particularly looking forward to the game against Real Madrid in April. In fact, this weekend he’ll be going to Madrid to watch the match against Atletico Madrid.

A spectacular prize

The prize consists of two tickets for every Barça match for the rest of the season, home and away. In the case of the away matches, Roland and the person accompanying him will have their travel costs paid and will stay for free in a NH hotel.

Roland received his prize at a ceremony in the Museum last weekend from the hands of Club marketing manager, Pasi Lankinen, who was delighted to be able to recognize and reward a loyal Club member. “Whoever the winner is, it’s very exciting for us to give this kind of prize to our members”.

Who took part?

This was the first draw in the membership card renewal campaign, open to all members who have renewed their card for 2010. Members were able to register for the draw from 22nd December until 31st January.
