Laporta and Rosell meet in club offices

Outgoing President Joan Laporta and his newly elected successor Sandro Rosell met this Tuesday afternoon in the club offices to begin the handover process.

After insisting that the handover period – President Laporta’s mandate finishes on June 30 – would be undertaken with perfect normality, both Laporta and Rosell stated in press conferences held on Monday that they had briefly spoken on the phone and agreed to meet soon. That meeting took place at 17.00 this afternoon in the club offices at the Nou Camp.

President elect Sandro Rosell also spoke to Pep Guardiola.
