Fundació work in Ecuador

The Fundació FC Barcelona have enjoyed a new round of Solidarity Sporting Events (JES) in Ecuador between October 13 and 16 in which 36 workers and 125 children have participated.
After two similar events in Catalunya last season, in Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Camp Nou, one was planned and enjoyed in Ecuador earlier this month.
Sport helps
JES are useful programmes to back up the works done by the International Network of Community Centres (XICS), in which teachers from education centres are invited to pas on their knowledge of using spot as an tool for education and social integration.
Chat and sporting activities
The seventh event in the Fundació's history took place in the Ecuadorian city of
Portoviejo in the XICS buildings there. There were 36 workers and 125 children all taking part with
many of the teachers from the local schools in the province, many of which are in remote villages.
Great team
The JES days involve a lot chats and activities and to help with his former FC Barcelona star Julio
Alberto Moreno was joined by social expert Cati Gómez from the Universidad de Vic.
