Hyde Park blooms in the Barça colours

The UEFA Fan Zone in Hyde Park in central London is awash with the Barça colours as thousands of supporters from both teams gather together ahead of tonight’s final, many of them enjoying the chance to have their photo taken with the Cup.
As the almost 24,000 Barça fans with tickets continue to arrive in London, many of them are making
their way to Hyde Park to enjoy the UEFA Champions Festival. Whether it’s to take part in the
activities organised by UEFA, to have their photograph taken with the Cup or simply to soak up the
atmosphere, the fact is the Barça fans and the Barça colours clearly outnumber those of Manchester
United.
Queues for the photo
Many fans have waited patiently in long queues to have their photo taken together
with the CL Cup. Another feature of the Festival that is enjoying great success is the Museum of
Football, with a variety of exhibits from previous finals, including the boots with which Ronald
Koeman scored the winning (and only) goal of the 1992 Wembley final, on loan from the FC Barcelona
Museum.
The UEFA Champions Festival will be open until 5 pm and so it will not be possible to watch
the match from any of the giant screens.
