Barça stars in new Nike advert

Sportswear giant Nike have produced a new television advert to celebrate the World Cup Finals in South Africa and of the ten stars featured five play for FC Barcelona and six came from the Blaurgana's youth ranks.
Finalists Spain have no less than eight Barça players in their ranks and Nike were keen not to miss the chance to promote their success with a new advert that shows a number of those stars strutting their stuff.
Write the future
Under the familiar motto 'Write The Future' the sportswear company's new
promo features Carles Puyol, Andrés Iniesta, Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets and Pedro from Barça,
while Cesc Fàbregas also appears. Real Madrid duo Raúl Albiol and Sergio Ramos are included along
with Sevilla's Jesús Navas and Valencia star Juan Mata.
They think about the future
While the focus is on the current Spain stars the advert also uses the up-and-coming
players with Spain's youth team starlets being used. Roger Riera and Sergi Samper have been used
from Barça's Cadet B side while Jon Toral, from the Cadet A team, is also in action.

It is not the first time that Nike have used Barça's youth team products in their adverts as they
did so in
May this
year
with a comparison between the current stars and those rising through the ranks. On that
occasion the Camp Nou dressing rooms were used as a back drop.
