Iniesta has a game with the fans

Andrés Iniesta is one of the most fan-friendly players around, and the game played at La Masia this festive season with some of his fans is yet another example of this.

The FC Barcelona star wanted to reward his legions of fans and friends on his official Facebook page. His offer was to have a Christmas kickaround with some of them, and he received more than 90,000 mails asking to take part.

17 lucky winners

Of course, they couldn’t all play, so 17 winners were selected to form two teams. The winners cam from all around: Girona, Madrid, Alicante, Cadiz, Barcelona, Oviedo, Murcia, Seville... Iniesta played one of the 20 minute halves with each of the sides, so that they could all say that they had played alongside one of the biggest Barça stars.

This was yet another of the excellent projects that Iniesta has organised to show his gratitude to his many Facebook fans.
