The Japanese company has presented the official FC Barcelona watch to the first team players and coaches. Seiko became the club’s official timekeeper in 2011.
From Friday, the players and coaches of the FC Barcelona first team are the proud owners of new
Seiko watches. The Japanese company became the club’s official timekeeper this season and its
representatives were at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper today to present the watches before the
training session.
The timepiece is called the Sportura FC Barcelona Chronograph, and has the FCB crest on the
back. The event was attended by the vice president of the Seiko Watch Corporation, Mr. Takahashi,
who handed the watches over to the four team captains and manager Pep Guardiola. Also present were
Mr. Todaka and Mr. Wilson, executives of the Japanese company, who presented watches to the other
players and coaches.
