Sevilla keep themselves firmly in the hunt for the league title on Sunday with a 3-1 win over Zaragoza. They remain in third place on 70 points, two behind Barça and Real Madrid.
Barça will have to keep a close eye on both Real Madrid and Sevilla over the last two games of the
season. The Andalus club remain in third position in the league table just two points behind Real
Madrid and Barça. The team, managed by Juande Ramos, beat Zaragoza 3-1 on Sunday with goals from
Luis Fabiano, Kerzhakov and Kanouté, while for Zaragoza, Sevilla’s Brazilian wingback, Alves,
scored an own goal.
This result means that Zaragoza must beat Real Madrid in the Romareda in the next match to
guarantee a place in Europe next season.
