Champions League timetable 2007/08

The timetable for next season's Champions League has been released and FC Barcelona will start their bid to win the trophy on September 18 or 19.

All that is missing now is the names of the teams in each group after the calendar for the 2007/08 campaign was revealed. Barça have qualified to enter straight into the group stages after finishing second in the Spanish table this term and they will play their first game in mid-September.

The final

The final of the Champions League will take place on May 21, 2008 in Moscow. That will be the aim for every side that is due to take part in the competition, but only two sides will achieve that goal. The first legs of the semi finals will take place on April 22 and 23 and the second legs will be played a week later on April 29 and 30.
