Albert Jorquera has, this afternoon extended his contract with FC Barcelona until 2010. The president Joan Laporta and the goalkeeper have signed the renewal in the clubs offices.
Barça’s goalkeeper, who is about to turn 29, has today, Friday, signed his renewal, which
ties him to the club until 2010. In this way,

, whose contract finishes at the end of this season, has extended the agreement for another
two years.
The man from Bescanó has renewed for Barça in the middle of
his recovery
from the broken crossed ligament and the exterior meniscus of his right knee, which happened

Albert Jorquera has told Barça TV and www.fcbarcelona.cat: “I’m very happy. The
first option of any home grown player is to stay here”. Furthermore, he added: “With

In turn, Joan Laporta, who was also present at the signing along with the tecnical secretary,
Txiki Begiristain, praised Jorquera: “He’s a great keeper, with great talent and
quality. Furthermore, from a personal point of view, he is aperson who gives a lot to the club, as
he gives stability, tranquillity and always knows what he has to do”.
