Touré Yaya and Bojan Krkic are back in the squad to face Celtic on Tuesday, whilst Edmílson and Giovani miss out in the 18-man list named by Frank Rijkaard this evening.
Toure Yaya missed out at the weekend for the game against Atletico Madrid, as did Bojan, who was
today given the medical okay to join the squad, with Rijkaard deciding to leave out Edmílson and
Giovani Dos Santos for tactical reasons.
Bojan given medical OK
Bojan was given
the thumbs up to rejoin the squad after recovering from the injury which he picked up in last
week’s Spanish Cup semi-final and which kept him out of Saturday’s game in Madrid. The
youngster’s inclusion in the squad again opens up the chance for him to become the youngest
goalscorer in Champions League history if he can score tomorrow night..
Márquez to start light training
Meanwhile, Rafa Marquez is still not over the injury to his right foot, despite considerable
improvement and the club’s doctors revealed that he will start light training on Tuesdays,
but remains unavailable for Rijkaard at the moment.
