Zambrotta suspended for one game

Gianluca Zambrotta will miss FC Barcelona's next league game after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against Villarreal.
The Spanish Football Federation's's Competition Committee ruled that he will be suspended for one
game. The Italian defender was shown his fifth yellow card during the defeat against Villarreal
last weekend after fouling Sebastián Eguren in the 86th minute of the game. That now means that
Zambrotta will miss the 28th league game of the season as the Blaugrana travel to play Almería in
the estadio Juegos del Mediterráneo
Puyol returns
Carles Puyol, however, will return to Frank Rijkaard's squad having missed the game against
Villarreal due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Andrés Iniesta and Gaby Milito are currently
just one booking away from being suspended for one match.
