Squad trains in the rain

The FC Barcelona squad trained at 11.00 this morning in a wet Miniestadi. The staff were joined by 15 players.

It was wet and grey in Barcelona as 15 players took to the field for Friday’s training session. Valdés, Ezquerro and Henry, who all missed the Thursday session, were all back.

Missing faces

But Márquez and Gudjohnsen were undergoing treatment in the Camp Nou, while Bojan (with an ischiotibial injury) went jogging at La Masia. Deco was not able to make it, and a club doctor went to house to test the player’s condition.

Also, the injuredC Sylvinho, Jorquera, Ronaldinho, Milito and Iniesta were also away.

Zambrotta and Thuram in isolation

The session was held behind closed doors, and Zambrotta and Thuram worked out separately from the rest of the group, doing running exercises with one of the fitness coaches, while the other 13 warmed up with the usual drills.
