"I hope to bring a lot to Barça"

Seydou Keita arrived this morning at Barcelona’s El Prat airport and made his first comments about his signing for FC Barcelona to Barça TV and www.fcbarcelona.cat.

“I’m very happy because Barça is a big club,” said the Mali international. “My decision is very important because I had offers from lots of clubs, but I’ve liked Barça for a long time.”

Works a lot and says little

One of Keita’s characteristics off the pitch is, according to the player himself, that he doesn’t speak much. “I don’t like talking because I don’t think you should talk too much when you’re not on the pitch,” he explained. “I only want to say that I hope to bring a lot to Barça, as I’ve done at Seville. But I don’t want to say that much because you don’t need to talk a lot in football.”
