Ronaldinho leads Brazil to win over Mexico

Brazil beat Mexico 1-3 in a friendly in Boston on Wednesday night to take revenge for their defeat in the Copa America group stage this summer in Venezuela.

Despite the presence of Dos Santos and Marquez in their ranks, the Mexicans had no answer to Ronaldinho’s Brazil.

Master shows young pretender the ropes

Giovani dos Santos has been winning comparisons with Ronaldinho for his style of play and has himself admitted that the Brazilian star is a figure he’s out to emulate, but on this occasion the master taught the pupil a lesson, in Giovanni’s second international game, as his team brushed aside the Mexicans.

Mexico went ahead early on with a goal from Juan Carlos Cacho, but once Ronaldinho had set up Kleber from a corner to equalise, the game turned . Ronaldinho was active all night and the two second half goals from Kaka and Alfonso wrapped up the win for Brazil. Ronaldinho played a full ninety minutes, as did Rafa Marquez, whilst young Giovanni was given his chance coming on after 73 minutes.
