Messi misses Pamplona trip

FC Barcelona's medical team have decide that Lionel Messi should not be included in the squad for the game against Osasuna as the risk of making his injury worse remains.

After examining the problem, that the Argentinian star picked up on international duty in midweek, doctors advised that it would be better if the did not travel to Pamplona for the match in thr Reyno de Navarra on Sunday. Messi will continue with a specific recovery programme in order to be ready to be included for the Champions League game against Olympique Lyonnais on Wednesday.

Messi returned from Argentina's friendly encounter against Australia in Melbourne with a calf strain and has been unable to train with the rest of the squad this week.
