Ronaldinho and Márquez back in the squad

Roger Bogunya/Berta Brau

Ronaldinho and Rafa Márquez have both been named in the squad for the Champions League encounter with Stuttgart, but Touré Yaya has been omitted after suffering an injury that has sidelined him for four weeks.

Having missed the last three league matches, against Sevilla, Real Zaragoza and Levante, Ronaldinho is back. The Brazilian's return means that he will not miss a Champions League encounter, as he made his last appearance for the team against Lyon in the first outing.

Márquez is also back in the squad for the trip to Germany after recovering fully from the blow to his Achilless tendon that saw him forced to miss out on playing against Levante on Saturday evening.

Both players have trained with the rest of the players on the pitch in front of La Masia without any problems.

Touré out of action

There was some bad news as Touré was ruled out of action for four weeks after tests revealed that he has a tear in the femoral biceps in his left leg and will, therefore, not play against Stuttgart.
