Gabi Milito and Carles Puyol have been included in Frank Rijkaard's 18-man squad for the visit of Atlético de Madrid on Sunday.
Despite being unable to appear in the Champions League encounter against VfB Stuttgart in midweek,
Milito has been given the green light to play, as has Puyol after he recovered from a strain in his
leg. Club doctors told the duo that they were able to appear after training on Saturday, so
Rijkaard has included them as Santi Ezquerro is the only fit player left out of the squad.
Crosas retained
Marc Crosas has retained his place in the squad
after travelling to Germany in midweek. The young midfielder, who is still registered with Barça B,
has been included on several occasions this term as Rijkaard looks to continue giving him
experience at the highest level. After being named in the squad for the opening day encounter with
Racing, Crosas has also been involved against Levante and Stuttgart.
Hotel stay
After completing the final training session behind closed doors before the game, Frank
Rijkaard took his players off to a hotel where they were due to stay in the build-up tot he visit
of Atlético.
