11 goals in 14 internationals

In just 6 months with the Spanish under 17 and 21 teams, Bojan Krkic has featured in three different competitions and his goals have proved vital in all three, making him a key player for the teams.
He might be still just 17 years old, but Bojan Krkic is already a global football phenomena,
following his performances with the Spanish national teams and of course with Barca. The striker
has figured in the Under-17 European Championships in Belgium, the Under-17 World Cup in Korea and
the qualifying stages of the Under-21 European Championships over the last few months and in all
three competitions he’s shown what a voracious goal scorer he is.
Four goals in Belgium
In Belgium he chalked up four goals in seven games ,
including the winner in the final against England, whilst he went two better at the World Cup,
scoring six in five games. Although he had to sit out the final, Bojan had already left his mark
with braces against Honduras and Korea, as well as scoring in the penalty shoot out in the quarter
finals against France and getting the goal that sent Spain through to the final against Ghana.
No problems stepping up
Bojan has also made the step up to under-21 football and in his second game at this level,
against Poland last Friday, he scored his first goal - the winner -in injury time to show he was
certainly not overawed by the age difference. A typical start for a natural goal scorer, who seems
set for a great future for club and country.
