Jorquera: "I felt very comfortable"

Albert Jorquera was pleased to play again as he appeared in the Copa del Rey encounter with Alcoyano and was impressed with Barça's performance in the victory over the third tier side.

After making his first appearance of the campaign, the goalkeeper said. "The feeling was very good, the team was focussed and had a lot of tension. We controlled the game and I felt very comfortable." After recent criticism of the Blaugrana's away form, Jorquera thought that the players raised their game and shook off the problems. "The attitude was outstanding and we played the game with a real intensity," he said.

Tough opponents

After winning by three goals, Jorquera stated that Barça had thoroughly deserved to win by such a margin. "We played very well against a team that appeared easy to beat, but were not," he continued, before reflecting on Alcoyano's two red cards. "They used their strengths and when they found it hard to maintain our forwards, they did whatever they could to prevent them playing."

Good form

After the talk in the press of a mini-crisis at Barça, Jorquera looked to dismissed the reports. "Generally, the team is playing very well," he stated. "Everybody knows exactly what they have to do in training and on the pitch. The papers always say many things and we just have to try and not pay them much attention."
