Samuel Eto'o trained on Tuesday evening at La Masia as his recovery from injury continues to develop positively. The Cameroonian worked out alone at the same time as the training session involving the rest of the squad.
At 17.00, Samuel Eto'o emerged at La Masía, where he worked in isolation from the rest of the
group. He arrived half an hour before everybody else as he continues concentrating on recovery from
the injury he picked up in the Gamper Trophy match against Inter Milan, a partial breakage of a
tendon in his right leg.
Intense programme
Eto’o has been working at a far more intense rate for the last two
weeks, and it was nice to see him getting to touch the ball this evening. He tackled a very
complete series of exercises that included a circuit involving ball control and shots on goal.
Shots on goal
He then continued working on his shooting skills, latching onto the end
of crosses supplied by one of the fitness coaches. Juan Carlos Unzué took the goalkeeper’s
role. Eto'o visibly seemed to be enjoying himself and made several jokes as the session progressed,
which ended with a series of sprints and jogging.

Double session
Samuel Eto'o also exercised this morning, as has become habitual in his individual recovery
programme. He was not the only Barça player to report to the Camp Nou this morning. Márquez,
Sylvinho, Edmílson, Giovani and Deco were also at the club.
