Bojan: “I do not feel any pressure
David Puig
Bojan Krkic is determined to keep his feet firmly on the ground despite the aduation and awards that he has won since making an impact with FC Barcelona. The young forward only wants to continue improving as a player and to ignore all the pressure.
The 17-year-old attended a press conference on Wednesday and explained how he is determined not to
become carried away by all the success. "I like to play football and savour every minute of it," he
explained. "I do not feel any pressure and I never stop to think about whether I am going to a lot
or a few minutes. I am only just starting out and I want to continue learning from the stars that
are in this squad."
Minor details
Reflecting on the Barça's away performances this season, Krkic does not think that there
needs to be a revolution: "There are some small details that need to be corrected to play like we
do in home games," he said. "Rijkaard will be the one that decides what they are and what we have
to do. Changing the system? We have not done badly when playing with four midfielders, but as I
have said, the coach will choose."
Step-by-step
Luis Aragonés has declared that Krkic could be given a chance
to impress at the highest level for Spain before long if he continues to impress as he has been up
until now. "I am still consolidating my place in the Under-21 side and do not think about the full
squad," the youngster said. "I want to thank Luis Aragonés for his words, but I want to go
step-by-step. Playing in the European Championships? I would love to. If they called me up I would
not think twice."
