www.fcbarcelona.cat
Thierry Henry will be available to play against Real Madrid on Sunday. The French striker was passed fit by Club doctors on Thursday morning and could make his comeback to the squad.
According to the medical bulletin issued today, Henry has recovered from the back problem that has
kept him sidelined for the last few weeks and Frank Rijkaard can now decide whether to include him
in the squad for the big game.
Henry has been receiving treatment for back pain since it was diagnosed on 2nd December and
has been out of action since the home game against Recreativo on 24th November.
Oleguer progressing well
The bulletin also explained that defender Oleguer Presas is receiving specific treatment
– including injections, massage and exercise in the pool - for his calf injury.
According to Club doctors he is progressing well and should be able to resume light training
on 29th December. A decision will then be taken on his return to full training depending on his
progress.
