Last training of the year
Sandra Sarmiento/Roger Bogunyà
The FC Barcelona first team trained this morning at La Masia. The final session of 2007 featured the presence of four Barça B players.
Those were Oier, Marc Valiente, Busquets and Víctor Sánchez, as well as Marc Crosas, who often
trains with the first team. The action started at 10.00 in the morning.
Getting into shape
Like on Sunday, Thierry Henry was missing due to a migraine.
The injured Jorquera was also missing, but Leo Messi did turn up and played with the ball and
jogged, watched by a fitness specialist.
Oleguer and Milito, meanwhile, continued with their own recovery programmes both in the gym
and on the pitch. Both worked out alone in the Camp Nou on Monday, where they practiced with the
ball before going into the gym.
Game to end
After circuit training and long ball practice, Rijkaard
organised the players into two teams for a short game involving teams of twelve. The game ended
scoreless.
The side without bibs was made up of Valdés, Zambrotta, Márquez, Puyol, Sylvinho, Edmílson,
Deco, Xavi, Gudjohnsen, Ezquerro, Ronaldinho and Eto'o.
In orange, we had Oier, Víctor Sánchez, Thuram, Marc Valiente, Abidal, Touré Yaya, Crosas,
Busquets, Iniesta, Giovani, Bojan and goalkeeping coach Juan Carlos Unzué.
