Great return for Iniesta
Anna Segura
Andrés Iniesta made his comeback against Mallorca after a two-month absence though injury, and did so in style with the second goal of the night for Barça.
A day before it will be a month since that fateful night when he was injured against Basel, Andrés
Iniesta has donned his boots again for a football match. Josep Guardiola sent him on in place of
Hleb after 66 minutes.
And a goal!
He could not have asked for a better start, as he almost
immediately supplied the goal that put his side ahead. It was in the 75th minute when he latched
onto a Gudjohnsen pass to slot the ball past Lux.
In his 28 minutes on the pitch, Iniesta shot twice and one went in, and he made 19 passes, 16
of which were good.
Márquez changed as precaution
Rafa Márquez was substituted in the second half with physical problems. The Mexican strained
his left hamstring and was taken off to avoid further damage, and will be subjected to medical
tests ion Sunday to confirm the extent of the injury.
The player was also shown a yellow card, his fourth of the season, so he will not be
available anyway for the trip to Pamplona to face Osasuna.
