Guardiola has no complaints

After Barça came back to draw in a game they were losing 2-0, Josep Guardiola was pleased with the effort his players had put in, and claimed not to have any complaints.
Two Samuel Eto'o goals were enough to grab a draw at the Manuel Ruiz de Lopera, after Barça had
gone 2-0 down. It was yet another excellent reaction to an adverse situation, and Josep Guardiola
felt they had done well to salvage a point in Seville. “I have no complaints” he said
after the match.
Pleased with players’ attitude
“I have no complaints. I cannot say we didn’t fight and didn’t make an
effort. We kept going at all times. When a team behaves like Barça did, you can’t make any
complaints”, said Guardiola, before adding that “I am worried if we fail because we
played badly, but I don’t get that feeling”.

Guardiola felt FC Barcelona had dominated the match. “We spent a lot of time
in their half and they scored goals from isolated incidents.” He felt the players had looked
in good shape and had left a good impression at the Manuel Ruiz de Lopera. “I would have
liked to have won, but that’s the way it goes. We got a point and you can’t take that
away from us” he said.
Impressed with Betis
The Barça manager added that he had been impressed with what he had seen from Betis. “I
want to congratulate Betis for the game they played. I expected an opponent like the one we got. It
was an entertaining game, and the fans enjoyed it. We were up against a great team with some great
players, who defended well. I hope they have a good end to their season”.
Set pieces
Once again Barça fell foul at set pieces but Guardiola responded that “I am not worried
about dead ball situations, but I have made a note of what happened. Perhaps we were lacking
tension defending free kicks, corners… Sometimes we let out attention slip, and were punished
because of it. Winning is not easy. I have no complaints about the way we defended”.
Long way to go
Josep Guardiola also pointed out that “there are still 15 games to play, there is a lot
of league ahead. … I have been saying it for a long time, we have to press on taking things
step by step”.
