Yuste is confident

The vice-chairman for sports is “absolutely convinced” that the team is “going along the right lines” and has complete faith in the players and the manager.
Txiki Begiristain has gone straight to Lyon from Düsseldorf, so it was vice-chairman Rafael Yuste
who spoke to the press at El Prat airport before Barça left for France. “We’re as
confident as we’ve been right from the word go,” he said. “I’m absolutely
convinced we’re going along the right lines.”
Derby shock
Yuste sees Saturday’s derby defeat as a
one-off. “It gave us a shock but we’re doing the job properly, we’re positive and
we want to get moving ahead again,” he said. “It was a tough match, down to ten men,
but that’s no excuse as that can happen in football and we have to look ahead and put in a
great game tomorrow.”
Work is key to success
Asked about the first leg in Barça’s last 16 CL tie with Lyon, the vice-chairman said
that “being in the Champions League is a great pleasure. It’s a two-leg knock-out tie
where we’ve got to do what we’ve done so far, and that’s work, work and
work.”
