18 man squad for trip to Madrid

Guardiola has named every man he can for the trip to the Vicente Calderón, apart from the dropped Albert Jorquera. The suspended Piqué and Keita and the injured Abidal, Milito and Iniesta are also left out.

With respect to Tuesday’s game in Lyon, the main change is the entrance of Pedro and Víctor Sánchez, in place of Piqué and Keita, who are suspended. The former received his fifth yellow card of the season against Espanyol and the other was sent off with a straight red.

Piqué and Milito: in isolation

In today’s training session there was a shock when Pinto hurt himself during the warm up, while Piqué and Milito were both missing. They had individual exercises to do. But Keita was able to train normally, although he won’t be travelling to Madrid, as did Iniesta, who returned to training this week.
