The first team is beginning a tough week with games against Majorca in the Cup on Wednesday and a League clash with Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s men are starting another tough week this Monday with two massive games which
mean no rest for the players. On Wednesday they play the second leg of their King’s Cup
semi-final tie away at Majorca, and then just three days later on Saturday they entertain Athletic
Bilbao in the League at Camp Nou where they’ll be looking to pick up three points to keep
ahead of their rivals.
First the Cup
Barça will be training every day this week, with sessions at 11 am on Monday and Tuesday at
the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper facility geared towards the Majorca game on Wednesday.
Travel to Majorca on Wednesday
As on other occasions, the team will travel to Majorca on the day of the game. They will
train at Camp Nou before heading to El Prat airport at 11.30 am for a 12.30 pm flight to the
Balearic Islands where they are due to arrive at 1.20 pm. The game kicks off at 10 pm at Ono
Estadi.
Back to the League
After the Majorca game, Barça will have to switch back to thinking about the League. They
have training on Thursday at noon at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper as they start gearing up for
the Bilbao game. This will be followed by a session on Friday at 11 am at the same venue and
another one at noon at Camp Nou on Saturday.
