Bojan: “The coaches give me confidence”
Jesús Carrillo
Catalan striker Bojan Krkic is very happy with his performances and work in the current Barça squad coached by Josep Guardiola.
“The coaches give me confidence every day and that is basic and fundamental for me. I train
hard every day and learn new things in every match and in every training session. I’m
surrounded by great professionals who show this in the Camp Nou, in training and in their
relationships in the squad. I’m privileged”.
“Every day is important”
Bojan believes that the day-to-day work is what marks out a team from the others:
“Every day we have to demonstrate our qualities, wait for opportunities and be ready to take
advantage of them. That’s what I do every day”. Asked about his future, Bojan told
reporters: “In football you never know what will happen the next day so it’s an unknown
quantity”.
The attacking trio
It’s difficult for Bojan to play in a team that
includes, among others, Messi, Eto'o and Henry. The young striker believes that these three players
form “the best attacking trio in the world right now, without a doubt, so it’s
difficult to get into the starting line-up. I want to develop with these stars and when I have had
the chance to play alongside them I believe I’ve done well and responded to the trust placed
in me by the boss. My conscience is very clear”.
Madrid and Bayern Munich
Turning to other talking points, Bojan analysed league rivals Real Madrid:
“They’ve only got the league. They’re a great team but so are we. I believe
we’ll have to fight it out with them for the title down to the last matches of the
season”.
As for the draw in the Champions League, he emphasised, “Bayern Munich is a great team
with match winning players. Their ground is a pressure cooker and they won’t make it easy for
us”.
