A decisive week begins

From this Sunday, the first team squad has begun it’s preparations for the games against Chelsea and Real Madrid, which will be decisive in Barça’s bid for the league title and the Champions League.
After their hard-fought draw against Valencia, Barça have already begun their preparations for
their Champions League semi-final first leg tie against Chelsea on Tuesday. Josep Guardiola has
programmed three training sessions before this game. The first took place this Sunday morning at
the Ciutat Esportiva complex, and the others will be on Monday and on match day in Camp Nou itself.
Maximum focus for Chelsea game
Josep Guardiola has called his players to Camp Nou tomorrow Monday at 18:00. At 20:15 the
team will leave the stadium and head for the Hotel La Florida, where they’ll be concentrated.
On match day, they will leave the hotel for a while to train at Camp Nou at 12:00, then
return to the hotel till it’s time to leave again for the ground.
No time off
Whatever happens on Tuesday, the players will get no time off as on Wednesday they’ll
begin preparations for Saturday’s crucial league game against Real Madrid at Santiago
Bernabéu. The squad will train Wednesday through Friday at the the Ciutat Esportiva complex.
Off to Madrid on Saturday
The training session on Wednesday will be at 11:30, then at 11:00 on Thursday and Friday. On
Saturday the team will meet at Camp Nou at 10:00 in the morning to start the journey to Madrid,
where the show-down will be at 20:00. After such a frenzied week, the team will rest on Sunday.
