After their convincing win at Bernabéu, this Monday the first team players are back training to gear up for the return leg of their Champions League tie in London against Chelsea. This is to be followed by another League fixture on Sunday.
It’s another vital week for Josep Guardiola’s men, this time in the Champions League.
On Wednesday they take a 0-0 score line from the first leg to Stamford Bridge and will be battling
to make the final in Rome on 27 May.
One session in Barcelona
After Saturday’s historic win (2-6), the first team will be back training this Monday
evening at 6 pm at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper facility. This will be the last session before
the team flies to London on Tuesday for Wednesday’s semi-final with Chelsea.
Travelling and training on Tuesday
The squad leave Camp Nou at 9.30 am for London where they will train at 7 pm local time at
Stamford Bridge. They come back to Barcelona after the match on Wednesday.
Friday means Villarreal
Guardiola plans to give his players Thursday off before thoughts turn back to the League on
Friday. Villarreal are the visitors to Camp Nou on Sunday for a game which, depending on Real
Madrid’s result at Mestalla on Saturday, might give Barça the chance to win the League. The
squad will train at the Ciudad Deportiva on Friday and Saturday at 11 am.
On Sunday the side will train behind closed doors at Camp Nou at 11.30 am.
