The Champions have arrived

The team arrived back at the Camp Nou at midday on Thursday escorted by a crowd of waiting fans. On the way, the players drove through the city in bus to salute the fans.
The team spent the night in Valencia after the win against Athletic Club in the Cup Final. This
morning (Thursday) the flight back from Valencia was delayed by fog at Barcelona airport and took
off some 45 minutes late.
First sight of the Cup
The Air Europa flight bringing back the players,
coaches, directors, family members and journalists landed in Barcelona at 1.35 pm. Head coach Pep
Guardiola and team captain Carles Puyol were the first to get off the plane carrying the Cup. They
were followed by Club president Joan Laporta, technical secretary Txiki Begiristain, second captain
Xavi Hernández and the rest of the party, all of whom posed for photos on the tarmac.
By coach to the Camp Nou
The champions immediately boarded a waiting bus which then
took them through the streets of the city to show the Cup to the people of Barcelona.
The players arrived at the Camp Nou at 2.35 pm accompanied by hundreds of fans. Here they
posed with the Cup and greeted the fans.
