Changes to squad

With the League Championship title mathematically in the bag, Josep Guardiola has called up six Barça Atlètic players to the squad for the Mallorca game and has rested seven first-team regulars.
On Saturday Guardiola announced a squad made up of 19 first-team players and the reserve team
goalkeeper Oier. He has now decided to make some changes before leaving for Mallorca. After Real
Madrid’s defeat at Villarreal ensured that Barça are mathematically the League champions,
Guardiola has opted to rest some of his first-team squad with an eye to the Champions League final
on 27 May.
Six Barça Atlètic players
Abraham, Fontàs, Jeffren, Oier, Thiago and Xavi Torres have all been called up from Barça
Atlètic, while Xavi, Messi, Puyol, Piqué, Touré Yaya, Sergio Busquets and Pinto will be staying in
Barcelona.
Pinto out with ankle
On Saturday Pinto twisted his right ankle in training and Oier was called up as cover.
Further tests this morning revealed it was still causing problems, so as a precaution Pinto
won’t travel to Mallorca.
