Bojan Krkic, Samuel Eto’o and Touré Yaya finished their season on Monday and can now look forward to a month of well deserved holidays.
With the Spanish Under-21s failing to make the knock out stage of the European Championships in
Sweden, Bojan Krkic played his last game of the season on Monday, as did the two Africans, taking
part in a charity game in Kigali.
Spanish team crash out
Bojan had been with the Spanish Under-21 expedition in Sweden, playing in the games against
England and Germany before missing the final game against Finland. The Spanish team could only
finish third in the group and after Monday’s game they made their way home for the summer
break.
Eto’o and Touré
Meanwhile, Samuel Eto’o and Touré Yaya
wrapped up their seasons with a charity game in Kigali in support of the victims of the Rwanda
massacres of 1994. The two were part of an African XI who beat Rwanda 4-0.
The majority of the Barca squad will be reporting back for training on July 20th before
flying off for the first pre-season games in London, whilst Bojan and the players involved in the
Confederation Cup are not due back till a week later.
