Top performances from Barca players in South Africa

The five Barca players involved in the Confederations Cup in South Africa have won all their games, Xavi, Piqué, Busquets and Puyol with Spain and Dani Alves with Brazil. Results that put them on course for a showdown in the final in Johannesburg.
Wednesday sees Spain in the first semi-final against USA, with Brazil taking on hoists South Africa
the following day. Xavi Hernández is the Barca player with most minutes at the tournament so far.
Four against South Africa
Xavi, Puyol, Piqué and Busquets all played 90 minutes for
Spain against South Africa, the game with most Barca players on the pitch so far. Xavi is the Braca
player with most minutes in the tournament having played 226 minutes whilst Puyol and Pique have
both played 180 minutes, whilst Busquets played just 7 minutes against Iraq and then the whole
match against South Africa.
Alves sidelined by Dunga
Whist Dan I Alves made a great start for Brazil against Egypt, taking the right back slot in
the starting line up and setting up two goals, the Brazilian boss Dunga has gone for Maicon rather
than the Barca defender in the last two games.
