Ronaldinho in Olympic squad

Ronaldinho has been named in the Brazilian squad that will be going to the Beijing Olympics this August.
Barça’s Ronaldinho Gaúcho is one of eighteen players that will be heading for China to
represent the South American nation, being one of the three players aged over 23 years that each
team is allowed to include in their squad.
The Brazilian team will be meeting on July 22 to begin preparations. The last time the Barça
player appeared in a Brazilian team was in November 2007, helping the side to a 1-0 win over
Uruguay.
Apart from Ronaldinho, four other Liga stars have got call ups for international duty, namely
Almeria keeper Diego Alves, Real Madrid’s Marcelo and Robinho, and Betis striker Rafael
Sobis.
