Samuel Eto'o, Seydou Keita and Daniel Alves are all due to report for medical tests and their first day of pre-season training on Saturday morning.
At 8.30am, the trio will report for duty at Camp Nou after being granted a few extra days holiday
due to their participation in their respective country's World Cup 2010 qualifiers . After
undergoing the obligatory medical tests, all of the players will be integrated into the squad for
training.
Testing times
Lionel Messi and Aliaksandr Hleb will join Eto'o,
Keita
and
Alves
for the analytical tests on their blood before going across to the Miniestadi where they will
undergo tests on strength, resistance and speed. Messi has already returned to training, after
coming back on Tuesday, while Hleb enjoyed his first with his new team-mates on Friday.
One session
Guardiola
has only pencilled in one training session for Saturday and that will start at 9.30am in the
Miniestadi. The coaches have decided to give the players the afternoon off. If the five players
that are due to undergo the medical tests finish those before training has ended, then they will
join in for the time that is left.
